Gear Review: Rocky Boots RidgeStalker

Are you looking for an awesome new hunting boot? New for fall 2011, ROCKY introduces the RidgeStalker, a cold-weather boot ready to stalk the cold and take it down.

“The RidgeStalker is built to perform in the most extreme winter conditions,” said Steve Graham, marketing manager for ROCKY’s outdoor division. “The 600g version is great for the mobile hunter throughout most of the country and the 2,000-gram option will provide excellent protection and comfort for stationary hunters in cold weather.”

With Rocky Waterproof construction and up to 2000 grams of Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation, even the harshest temperatures are no match for the RidgeStalker. The removable Terra Suspension PU cushion footbed combined with a Goodyear welt provides comfort and stability while a bobbed, self-cleaning, multi-layer outsole has been infused with cork to reduce the weight of the boot.

The 10-inch, lace-up boot will be available in Brown, Dark Brown, Realtree AP and Mossy Oak Break-Up patterns. The RidgeStalker will have a suggested retail price of $129.99-$159.99.
