Gear Review: Remington Model 700 CDL 375 H&H 100th Anniversary Edition

remington To celebrate the 100th anniversary of one of the most versatile big-game chamberings of all time, Remington has unveiled the Model 700 CDL 375 H&H Magnum 100th Anniversary Edition.

With a satin-finished American walnut stock and matte-finished 22-inch rifle-sighted barrel, this classic rifle now celebrates a classic cartridge! As with other Model 700s, this special edition features an externally adjustable X-Mark Pro trigger system that “breaks like glass,” a cylindrical receiver machined from a solid steel bar (for uniformity, strength and consistent shot-placement), plus the recessed bolt face locks up inside the counter-bored breech of the barrel — which is surrounded by the receiver to form “three-rings-of-steel” that enclose the cartridge case head for unparalleled strength. Remington also now has a dedicated Model 700 website.
