I get a lot of requests from aspiring and professional photographers to "buy" stock submissions... that is, a photographer will e-mail me a single or a few images, and ask if Western Sportsman would like to purchase them. We usually don't operate that way — — we generally buy articles and photo packages as one, or request specific images from photographers.

I read about this hunter in Alberta last year who "accidentally" shot at a fellow hunter -- he mistook him for a moose.
