Article - Essential Guide to Long Distance Accuracy By Mark Hoffman Nov./Dec.31, 2008 Edition. Mr. Hoffman mentioned about the Hornady 180 Gr. SST in 30 Cal.Leaving the Muzzle @ 3,200 FPS.I'am interested in this Bullet. What type of Powder, amount used, type of Primers,Brand of Cases,in order to get these results.I use a Reminton 700 BDL in 300 Win. MAG.Currently using Hornady 180 Gr.Spire Point # 3070 .Loading 71.5 Grs.of IMR 4350 Powder,CCI. Mag. Primers,Winchester Cases 300 Win. Mag W-W Super.Cartridge overall Length 3.365. Result 3100 FPS.Has worked very well for me .Considering a bullet to give me a little Flatter & Faster result.I checked the Hornady 7 TH Edition Loading Manual at a Sporting Goods Store & it does'nt have the loading Info. in it to get the Result's of 3200 FPS for the 180 GR. SST.that Mr. Hoffman has mentioned in his Article.Mr. Hoffmans suggestions would be very welcomed. Thank You, Gary Hubert
