Who Wants to be An Outdoor Writer?

Western Sportsman is currently accepting story queries for feature articles to appear in the 2010 issues.

We would love to hear from new writers and photographers.

Please take a look at our writer's guidelines , and then send your queries to editor@westernsportsman.com.

Remember - even if you've already written the story, please query witha 100-word outline. No query - no acceptance. Sorry to be blunt, but we don't have the manpower to read every unsolicited story that comes in.

Photography - as outlined in the writer's guidelines, we only accept high-resolution digital photography. If you're unsure what "high-resolution" means, or unsure how to e-mail photos so they remain "high-resolution," please take them time to learn. It's a busy time of year for us, and we might not be able to get back to you before the deadline for stories closes. High-resolution, quality digital photography is a must! (Would you want to see anything but that in Western Sportsman?)

Oh - and if you could have your ideas to me by May 22, that'd be great.

Thanks -- please, if you would like to try writing for Western Sportsman, I encourage you to submit!
