These photos came down the wire to me the other day -- pretty wild.

In a nutshell, the story is that an employee at the Petro-Canada plant in Robb, AB, heard some noise, followed by a growl, and turned to see a wolf taking down a deer right in the sulphur!

The wolf, finally realizing where it was, got spooked and took off. The deer was mortally wounded and had to be put down.

The below photos were allegedly taken via cell phone -- to give an idea of how close the action was.

Certainly an unsual day at the plant for the guys out in Robb. And bold behaviour for a wolf to be sure.
